Every kit is held in an Essentials Kraft 80 GSM pouch. Each one recyclable. Each one finished by hand. Each one carrying your property's name — the same standard that runs through The Carta Collection and, for properties commissioning something singular, The Opus Collection.

Every Carta item carries your property's name. The notepads. The calendars. The coasters. The paper bodies of the pens and pencils. Where there is a surface to print on, the property's mark goes on it.

What we change for you is the print, the mark, and where the item allows it, the colour. What stays as it is, is the materials — the same boundary that holds across The Terra Collection, and the same standard carried into The Opus Collection for bespoke commissions.

The personalisation does not stop at the product. Carta can be presented in a recyclable Kraft box, finished to match the occasion.

Some objects in a guest's room are commodities. The robe, the tray, the welcome card — these can be ordered from a catalogue.

And then there are the objects that belong to a property. Made from the soil it sits on. Woven by hands that live a valley away. Marked by a story the building itself is trying to tell.

Opus is the second category. Where The Terra Collection and The Carta Collection are productized standards a property can order off the shelf, Opus is commissioned. We listen, we design, we make. The result is hospitality essentials no other property in the world will receive.

    Discovery

    A conversation with your team to understand the property — its architecture, its guest, the story you want guests to leave with. No commitment, no charge.

  2. 02

    Proposal

    A design proposal outlining the objects we'd make, the materials we'd source, the artisans we'd commission. Costs, timelines, exclusivity terms — all on one document.

  3. 03

    Sample

    We produce a single sample of each object. You touch it, your team touches it, your guests don't yet. Iteration happens here, not later.

  4. 04

    Production

    Once the sample is approved, full production begins. Typical turnaround is four to six weeks — distinct from The 21-Day Process that governs standard Terra and Carta orders. Delivery is coordinated directly with your housekeeping or front-of-house team.

How a quote becomes
a delivered order.

The 21-day window is the most recognisable thing about how we work. Short enough to be a relief. Long enough to be honest about what made-to-order requires. Five stations — each one real work, not a diagram.

Station 01 Day 0

Quote approval

Your written quote, signed and returned, is what moves the order from a conversation into a build. Until then, nothing in the warehouse moves on your behalf. After it, every day matters.

Station 02 Days 1–13

Materials in motion

Custom items get configured. Branded pouches go to print. Items from The Terra Collection and The Carta Collection move on parallel tracks — slippers, laundry bags and the like are made and ready against the hard Day 14 deadline.

Station 03 Day 14

All materials at the Guwahati hub

By end of Day 14, every component for your order is at our facility in Assam — Custom, made-to-order, pouches, inserts, packaging. If anything is missing, it surfaces here. We have four days of buffer before assembly begins; we use them to confirm, not to recover.

Station 04 Days 15–18

Assembly and packing

Kits get built one property at a time. A small team works on a single client's order from start to finish — the same hands, the same eye, the same standard. These are the people behind our impact. The kits are checked twice: once at assembly, once at pack-out.

Station 05 Days 18–21

Quality check, final dispatch

By end of Day 18, your order is client-ready. The remaining days are for one more quality pass and for dispatch. We ship within Day 21, with a three-day grace window that we have rarely needed to use.

Everything we make is made here, in our own unit. Not placed with anonymous suppliers. Not assembled somewhere we have never been. The people who build your kits are known to us, trained by us, and paid by us — and most of them are women, from the communities around the unit.

How the work begins

An order arrives. Say ten thousand dental kits for a hotel.

That order is the signal. Local women come in alongside our team, are trained on the kit, and are paid the contracted amount to ready it. The order does not fund a donation. The order is the livelihood.

In the Northeast, that mismatch is sharper than anywhere else. The traveller who books a homestay in a tea estate, a riverside cottage in Arunachal, a heritage stay in Shillong, or a forest lodge near Kaziranga did not come for sameness. They came for slowness, for material honesty, for a different sense of place. The plastic kit on the bedside undoes the room before the guest has unpacked.

The hospitality here is structurally different too. The buyer is more often an Owner than a procurement department. Quality is judged on a personal scale, not a tender scale.
